WEP and Polito racing team. . . the avant-garde chooses excellence!

The RACING TEAM of the Turin Polytechnic chose WEP for the creation of the electronic boards that were on board the 2020 single-seater.
The POLITO racing team
It was born in 2005 from the initiative of ten motor vehicle engineering students, united by a passion for motor racing and in particular by designing and building a prototype of a racing car. The first SC was born from this idea: "racing" red livery, in homage to the automotive history of our country such as the great Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati brands, and on the nose the number 46, to pay homage to their idol Cole Trickle, played by Tom Cruise, and protagonist of the film "Days of thunder"
Each team made up of university students must design, build and test a new car every year which must:
– Have high performance in terms of handling, braking and acceleration;
– be economical;
– Be easy to maintain;
– Be reliable;
– Be comfortable;
– Be attractive and well finished;
– Be producible in limited numbers of four specimens per day (one thousand in a year).
To achieve all this, today's cars, seeking maximum performance, are crammed full of ever more refined electronic control units and sensors, ever smaller and lighter.
Who better than a racing department knows what it's like to work with water at your throat?
trying every day to take that step that manages to raise the bar further and further and do it in a very short time to be able to try that idea you had a few days before an event in the race or on test days?
The boys of the Corse Polito team immediately grasped the advantages that WEP allows them to obtain:

We were very pleased with this last consideration because by giving life to this project we were afraid that making our customers independent, freer and "smarter" could transform our business into a simple automatic mechanism.
We didn't want a system that worked for us so we only had to stare at a monitor and prepare packages for shipping. . . . we don't like it like this!!!
We wanted a system that would allow us to work better, in a leaner and therefore more effective way.
For this reason we wanted to build an assistance service as close as possible to our customers but at the same time consistent with our philosophy of speed, simplicity and method.
A customer service that allows us to work in synergy with our customers but with maximum effectiveness.
